AKA The Artist and The NerdI drew this months ago but did a few touch-ups! I needed a side-by-side of this duo, just to see them together and to figure out and compare body shapes. Still figuring out Nova's, who's supposed to be on the softer and rounder side, but this is decent for now!
Nova is like, the shortest stallion in the cast, bless this tiny nerd boy.

It's Mo's legs that make them so much taller- Their torso and Nova's are abt the same size

AH! I'm still in the learning process, but one way I improved my anatomy skills greatly was by doing gesture drawings. I think at least an hour each day for a month!
I used this website: line-of-action.com/practice-to…
It helps you go through a session of images (you can pick your own settings, how long each picture will be up before moving on to the next, etc). And if you need a basic idea of how to do figure/gesture drawing, look it up on youtube! It's all about learning the shapes and flow of a body, and getting all those basics down before filling it out!
