- ((Suggested by !!)) Rhea was born between Troubleshoes and Cherry Jubilee many years ago, back when the two were very young and still married.
Her parents ended up going their separate ways some time after Rhea became an adult. The divorce was heartbreaking to watch for young Rhea, but she tried to understand that the two were just not happy living together. Unfortunately the heartache from their divorce would influence her to try to make a very unhealthy marriage of her own work, one she'd later struggle to find an escape from.

-She is a survivor of domestic abuse and has long since left her ex-husband. Unfortunately her scars and her face’s burn mark are a constant reminder of the old days. However, she refuses to be brought down and pushes forward with her head held high.

-Rhea is a large mare with obvious Clydesdale genes, passed down from her father. She towers over nearly everypony at the Sanctuary, and despite her size, she has no problems dancing and moves gracefully. She has knowledge on many different dance styles, but mainly sticks with pop and hip-hop for her classes (which can range from kids as young as five to teens as old as sixteen; classes each week can be organized by age or dance style, but sometimes can be mixed together).

-Unfortunately many younger kids start out afraid or nervous around Rhea due to her large size and appearance, but anypony who comes to know her knows that she is a gentle, motherly giant with a kind and passionate heart.
-When she first left her old life behind, Rhea struggled to find a job and a place to live. Despite this she chose to volunteer at the Sanctuary whenever she wasn’t job-hunting and was the first to start the dance sector. The Crusaders saw her kindness and devotion to help kids express themselves and it didn’t take long for the three to happily create an official dance instructor position and hire her. But upon finding out her living situation, the three of them offered her a home within the Sanctuary in a heartbeat. Rhea has been eternally grateful to them since.
-When Skychaser first came to the Sanctuary, Rhea was a bit nervous about the unfriendly teen watching from the sidelines, especially whenever she was met by aloofness upon trying to invite him to participate. It wasn’t until she caught him helping one of her newest fillies learn her dance routine that she came to see him in a whole new light. Kindness and patience paid off and eventually, Sky began talking to her more and showing a brighter side. Two years later she was more than glad to accept him as her assistant. Now the two dance instructors are inseparable, and she practically sees him as the son she’s never had.

-None of the Sanctuary apparel fit on poor Rhea unfortunately, so she opts to just tie one around her shoulders!
