Description And now we step away Marisa to check in on the other main heroine of Touhou Project, Reimu Hakurei. Don't worry, we'll get back to Marisa later. This also marks the first mention of the cave from the first comic, and subsequently, the plot.

Also, those with sharp eyes may notice a reference to another Touhou fanwork of mine. A free internet to the first person to point it out.

Yes. Yes I did. A little Easter Egg for my fans. The few I have, anyway.

I forgot to ask since I never played the Touhou games: did Suika actually move out and into heaven, or does she still live with Reimu and keep the heaven plot as a vacation place?

Suika actually comes and goes wherever she pleases. No one is really sure where or what she considers as "home". However after Immaterial and Missing Power she canonically started hanging around the Hakurei Shrine a lot. After Scarlet Weather Rhapsody she just started treating her new place in Heaven as yet another place for her to hang out and drink.

However, in my timeline she actually moved in with Reimu but moved back out to live in Heaven. It gives me a bit more wiggle room for character development.

Wow. Impressive! You got them all on the first try. That deserves an extra-big cookie.

That makes it even for flubbing the last one. I'll consider it like two moderate successes then.

Have I mentioned how much I love this series? If so I think I need to say it again.

This is some of the most original work I've seen from anyone in a while.

Also, once again, somebody program this! Please? Pretty please? (Is there seriously no puppy dog eyes emoticon?)

I don't know about original. I am using Create.swf, after all. Although you are right that I'm going to be avoiding extreme fanon conventions. Marisa and Alice are Vitriolic Best Buds, but Alice isn't totally tsundere for her. Reimu is still a grouch, but it's because she can never get a moment's peace, not because she's a jerk. If I can't avoid fanon, then I at least try to put a new spin on it.

And yes, I wish I could make a game out of this too.

Ok, so an unoriginal medium, but the storyline and your interpretation of the characters (or as you said the avoiding of extreme fanon) is, at least in my opinion.

When you think about it there actually aren't any truly original mediums to use. You can draw, write, paint, sculpt, photograph, and use a computer. Actually, Create.swf is just like photography, the arrangement of objects in different ways to send a message, the only difference is you can use text bubbles. If photography is considered an art, why not this?

Hmmm... a compelling argument. It's a shame I don't have the money for a decent scanner, because then I could put up some of my original stuff.

That would be very cool. I'm sure it would look great.

I'd put some of my stuff up, but I can't draw much, just miniature scribbles in my notebook.

I get to stick to writing, or rather making up stories and not putting them down because I'm lazy.

Curse that Lazy Gremlin! Why can't it go away and let us be productive? Ehh, I'm sure it'll go away eventually.
