With their boxy looks, this was relatively easy to do and still make it look stock. the fact that it DOES look stock says something about the skill level of the body and fender mechanic(s) that did this.
The early 80s Corolla and the mid-late 80s Cressida didn't look anything remotely similar.

yeah, odd that someone would craft a Cressida front end into one of these. some people used to put Alfa Romeo grilles on 3rd gen Tercels back in the early 90's
