Andddddddddd, voila!
Title: "This Approaching Repercussion"

This is my first attempt at painting one of my more traditionally surreal images. I rather wish the photo did this a little more justice -- but alas, this is the best I could do.
Where do I begin with this one? I put about as much thought into it as I would one of my drawings; in fact, this started out as a sketch I did in a recent sitting. There's a certain, added depth that came with using color...I feel like it accurately conveys the initial visions I was having.
My thoughts have been a little all over the place, as usual. In the moments I was painting this, I reflected on all the little abstract patterns in my life -- I can't stress enough how much of an impact they have on what I create. Lately the patterns have manifested themselves in communication -- the way people talk to (or often, at) me, what they say, phrases they use, etc. This painting is of such reverberation, I suppose.
I won't say anymore; see what you will, take a hint, lose yourself -- whatever you want. There's significance in everything, I hope you enjoy!
