Description (Editors Note: I apologize if the image seems blurry, it doesn't usually come out this way, and I'm trying to figure out how to clear it up in Photoshop.)

Inspired by one of 's quick sketches, envisioning of the Boldog, an Orcish Maia, or maia-like orc. It looked somewhat like a cross between a gibbon and a mountain lion, which I liked. I asked whether they were orcs or maiar to which he puts it best, that they are a lesser maiar in the shape of Morgoth's orcs "Super-Orcs" if you will.

BTW, I feel the need to apologize to Mr. Mohan for thinking he hates the orcs in Peter Jackon's movies, he does not, he just thinks they look too big or to athletic; in fact in regards to the concept of Boldogs, he said he might draw another concept of them based on Weta's rendition of Azog as portrayed in the Hobbit film trilogy.

As a matter of fact, that's what inspired me to draw my own take on the Boldogs, inspired by Turnermohan's work as well as this image of a gorilla in a zoo with a fairly athletic physique, resembling a human powerlifter.

I also drew a female boldog, since I gotta draw orc women based on Tolkien's mythology, particularly regarding the common theory that orcs are deformed elves. Actually, on the topic of breeding, me thinks that the Uruk-Hai my be a bi-product of Sauron and Saruman trying to retro-engineer Morgoth's Superorcs, which oddly enough reminds me of how the Nazis or at least the German people back in WWII were attempting to breed back the extinct Auroch, hence Heck Cattle were born; and similar practices of rebreeding extinct animals are still being practiced today.

Hope you lot like it, and Turner, I again apologize for the miscommunication earlier.

I wonder if you can draw some artwork based on how Morgoth created orcs via having a female elf now orc cry at the sight of her reflection

Nicely done! I know they aren't your characters, but are their arms supposed to be so long? If they're going to have more ape-like bodies they should probably hunch over more. Otherwise I like your anatomy skills!

are the arms supposed to be very long, becasue the elbow is supposed to end near the ribcage, and not by the hip,

Orcs are described as having long arms like apes and monkeys.
