Aaaah thank you, I'm glad you like it! It's never too late to learn sfmy things.
Valve's own tuts can be found here, if you want to look them over- www.sourcefilmmaker.com/post.p⦠.
The one thing I remember having problems with when I started was that no one told me about the clip editor/motion editor/ graph editor stuff. SFM starts in the clip editor, where it shows you a smoothed out preview of you movie/poster, and where you can add sounds. It's also where you CAN'T move models. To move a model, try to use the motion editor- the middle one in this picture. i.gyazo.com/d2f52ce28a69e47f4c⦠Third one is graph editor, it's for animation only and goes pretty in depth, I barely know how to use it myself. You can move models by either picking bones under the model to the left bit of sfm, or by holding the ctrl key down on the keyboard. You can 'rig' models to help in posing by right clicking and clicking rig> rig_biped_simple, which is the one that comes with sfm. Other than that it's all practice, I'm afraid.
You can also check by Jimer Lins ( www.youtube.com/user/JimerXLin⦠) and Pte Jack ( www.youtube.com/user/PteJack1/⦠) for more specific tuts on other things for sfm.
Sorry if you didn't want to hear all this, but I like showing people that sfm help isn't far, even if I'm a terrible teacher myself. The best I can do is hand out links to the other people who are good at teaching it.
