Short RP that I didn't finish with Silvah, Kitsani, Ferry, and Icey. >.>

“S-stupid w-weather... s-stupid I-Infected... S-stupid r-rules,” Stuttered Ceylon to himself. The tan-and-black spotted tom was pacing back in forth, copper gaze flicking from the alley behind him to the street before him. “W-where i-is t-t-that G-guard?” He had gone out with a guard he had hardly known... Jack, Jacob... Jake? Yeah, that was it. Jake. The gray tabby had been nothing but a bother to the smaller tom, but he had to admit that he was necessary. The Infected were everywhere, and without him Ceylon was a sitting duck. “J-J-Jake? He called out weakly, eyes shifting to the long shadows around him. He hadn't seen the gray tom for quite awhile... He had said something about a mouse, then ran off. Ceylon had been too shocked to follow, and had waited for his return. Did he ditch me? The thought was only there for a fleeting moment, but it was enough to set him off. “H-He d-d-ditched m-me!” He mewed, incredulous. How could he be so inconsiderate? It was a rule he had to have a guard with him, wasn't it? How could he leave him alone with all the Infected about? Ceylon looked around in alarm, eyes wide in horror. He had been sitting there, alone, unprotected, worrying about the weather when he was in danger! He leaped to his paws, striped tail lashing in fear. He had to get to a rooftop, where he'd feel safe. He looked up, then shrunk down in realization. All the buildings around him were too tall to jump, and they offered no ledges to climb to. All the trashcans around were tipped over, and the largest one he could jump to wasn't tall enough to get him to any of the roofs. A growl sounding behind him froze him to the spot, and as his hackles rose he slowly turned around. Oh shit,

As Ceylon caught sight of milky white eyes and bared teeth, he quickly decided today was the worst day ever. He also decided he hated Jake. He ducked his head, backing up against the wall behind him. That wasn't the best idea for obvious reasons. Maybe it won't notice me? He thought, trying to stay optimistic. Maybe it's not hungry? The Infected took a step closer and snarled. Shit shit shit shit what do I do? He looked around in alarm, trying to find some exit from the alley he had backed into. Just like his earlier observation, they was no way to the rooftops and the only way to get out of the alley was behind the angry Infected. “N-Nice, I-I-Infected...” He tried, but the cat only snarled louder. Basically, he surmised, either he would be bitten by the Infected, or magically someone would come and save his tail. The latter wasn't very likely.
