Will protect us~!Hey I'm back from hiatus along with this artwork. For the past two months I've been doing some studying and learned a few things here and there. School (and that's art school ~|`3`\~) is going to start soon so I thought I should wrap up everything I've learned and try to create a refined artwork.
I was stuck countless times when doing this artwork but in the end I managed. Even when I look at it now I can still find lots of areas that needs improvement but I hope I've made some meaningful progress.

I really think you improved a great deal and I had to double take when I saw the thumbnail to make sure that I was really looking at your page. I hope you don't take offense to that, I mean, I always thought you did great work, but this one is really very amazing.
First, I would like to comment on the concept, the title itself is very intriguing and the abstract designs of her scythe/weapon and the apparatus she is using to conduct her research is something I find interesting. It really makes me wonder if she is a queen or a deity, or is she just someone on a quest to find answers and receives this title of a 'queen' by default and it's not really something she gives thought to?
I think this goes up with the concept, but the designs are wonderful and diverse and yet holds a bit of familiarity that both makes you wonder, but draws you in. And the setting of her up in the clouds or in some substance helps to show that she is indeed someone set apart from the masses and helps to pique your interest of what lays beneath those clouds.
And your coloring is absolutely wonderful, I really love the lighting you created that contrast each other beautifully, like night and day. The lighting on the woman herself is a great mixture of both that helps to blend the colors together. Her positioning and the flow of her clothes and hair help to add to the overall ambiance of the piece.
I'm sorry if I overanalyzed and made assumptions, but lol someone signed off without saying goodbye :/ Anyway, you did wonderfully on this piece and I feel you got a lot of improvement from your hiatus and I hope you are proud of yourself so far because you really should be~
