this is awesome! my only critique would be that it might be good for her to stand out more against the bg. otherwise this is really well done!

Lovely coloring is lovely, I'm loving the scenery. Everyone else covered what I was doing to say about the critique, however, sooo I'll keep quiet. XD;; Nice job!

Oh man ! You improved your skills so much since your last illustration ! This is not normal 0w0
*jealous*
Ok, I'll give you critique. Nothing to say about composotion, composition is your bitch, you're a master.
About the action, I can't see if she is about to puch him, or if she had just punched him (but she seems very serious).
Your choice of colors are very coherent and fit very well. The only thing is texturing, I guess their armor is made of metal or shiny plastic, but I can't really see the difference between it and the rocks or the wood on the railway.
Anyway, congrats for your patience !

ahhh yesss texturing! i don't really know how to go about that. from what i've read either you use a texture brush, a filter layer of texture, or draw them in yourself. what should i do? is there a good tutorial or article that deals with texture in a general sense rather than a specific artwork?

No you don't need texture brushes except if you're very lazy.
Actually, what's really distinguishing (pff is that even english?) materials is the way the light reflect on it. I don't know good tutorials, but you should practice painting from photographs.
In the case of your drawing, for the armor the shade must be less smoothed as it's metal, like on a car. And for the wood, the reflection must be less shiny (cause wood doesn't shine unless it's glossed or idk.)
Hmm hard to explain, I hope it helps you anyway ^^

I like the character outfit designs tons more than what you usually do. The tubing on the Union grunt is probably my favorite feature.
My major criticism is Beyon's pose and anatomy. She doesn't seem to be very dynamic in this picture when it seems like she should be since she's sending a power fist into this guy. Her crotch seems to be imploding upon itself as her legs twist in this weird and awkward angle that even if a human could pull off, doesn't look like a very stable fighting stance.
The face as well... I'm not very good at faces myself so I couldn't give any tips or specific criticisms about it.

It looks good, but I see something weird with her right leg (as if it was longer than what it should, maybe because of the outfit) and the left arm, it seems she is hitting from above, not from down.
To show the uppetcut I'd have placed enemie's arms more to the sides and his head looking to the sky, not to the ground.
