Description Oooookay, this painting took me a week....a f*cking WEEK ! damn it, that was so long to do. I hope it was worth it. I wanted to do a sci-fi thing on which I could practice my background skills for indoors scenes. (and with Valentine's day coming up, I had another good reason to paint this)

So for those who are not familiar with the Halo series (which is a video game developed by Bungie found exclusively on Xbox), the characters are Master Chief John-117, a spartan, main character of the saga, and Cortana an IA constructed from the cloned brain of Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey (the creator of the SPARTAN Project) who's often of a great help and attached to the Chief.
Here they sitting in a UNSC pelican dropship.

I miss cortana... She was one of the reoccurring characters in all of the halo games, and the relationship in halo 4... so sad. But besides my attachment to the AI, love the painting. Kind of a dark mood, but I think that adds to the effect. Nice job!!!

Wow, this is absolutely stunning! The coloring is so striking and yay for Cortana! The shading of John's armor is fabulous and I love the red--it totally adds atmosphere to the piece. Great, great job!
