see i found this wicked awesome group called Battle-artist in here link --> [link]They throw these art-battles. There's different kinds, and unfortunately i was a bit late to join this weeks battle.
BUT the topic was so inspiring, so i decided to do my own version.
The challenge was to render your own version of David Mack's Kabuki.
I'd never even heard of this comic, so googled at bit, and OMG it's AWESOME. The story is poetic and punchy, and the artwork is....omg! Well gogo quickly and google it
(and not just saying it cause i'm asian meself hehe)
aaaaaanyways, tis my own version of the character Scarab.
Still, I'm a noob at this, so if anyone has aaanything to say, criticism-wise, pls say so. Each little drop will help me improve

Wow! This is awesome - hard to critisize! I think the hair stands out as especially well rendered - hair is seriously hard to draw and ink, and this looks just perfect!

Yeah, it's funny you mention the hair. It's a bit of an issue atm. Just last night i had a chat with a friend about it. Think i've got this new hobby: Gathering how-to-make-hair-tutorials

Wow this is truely outstanding!!! What a killer piece I wish you'd got in on the battle! This is one of the best poised and most dynamic scarab pieces, absolutely love this. Ton of talent and joy to see. Will try link this to the battle as an honorary mention.
