haha, i'm aware that the title is rather cheesy. sometimes i would say that when mentioning to someone that i was working on the comic. i found it fitting.so here's the cast of my comic, nine lives ... or rather, boo and a bunch of plushies of the rest. those pillows look mighty comfy if you ask me. i had quite a bit of fun searching for funky patterns on google. i don't remember where they all came from unfortunately, but they were all free to use.
this was incredibly fun to do. just for the record. and i'm really happy with how the patterns turned out, as well as those funky 70s flowers in the back. they're pretty awesome.
this was also made for the new layout on the nine lives website.

used: mechanical pencil/graphite, photoshop (colors), found retro patterns

Oh those patterns look wonderful! Such an atmosphere this gives off, the walls and the bed clothes she's lying on, it reminds me so much of my first house (from when I was 0-5 years old). Brilliant nostalgic colours!
I love the scratchy shading also, and Boo's colours always look lovely against the brown tones. Those plushies are absoloutely adorable, I'd love to own one
I can so imagine your comic on the shelves of book shops around the world I can :3
