whoo. aedan. i really like her design, and i felt like drawing her the other day. actually this was drawn on friday, but i was lazy with coloring. (plus i was at my dad's for 3 days)i also like her character. she's too busy having fun to notice anything bad happening, i wish i could be like that sometimes.
her right hand is supposed to be more in the background, i don't know if you can really tell... my friend thought i just gave her one big hand and one small hand :\ but it's further in the background.... i need to work on perspective. bleh.
kept this as simple as possible, the flat colors looked pretty good too but i thought that would make me seem too lazy. so i did the full coloring job and liked the outcome. and gasp, no brushes?! yeah i didn't feel like it. i like it this way.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it already, but her arm would look further away if it was lower and maybe if her forearm was shorter. It looks like the upper arm is shorter but the forearm looks the same length to me. Or maybe if the hand was more horizontal. Just simple things like that. Hell, it could be the shading on that arm's shoulder. I think I understood what you were going for (I don't know for sure)
It looks like the arm is bent instead of outstretched and further away.
It's awesome and with the coloring I bet it's less noticed.

I think it's neat how she's kind of grey but the highlights have a fleshy peach tone. Really blends the animal-human aspect well. I just love that animated pose, she's so adorable. The bit of underwear showing is am odd but nifty detail. Hee hee, looks like a little trendy punk type.
