Description
A dailydoodle is my sister's birthday present. She turns 26 tomorrow, and here's her present. It's a quick rendition of our fishtank...Acrylic on approx. 10"x7" oval canvas.
4 hours, mostly in mixing paint..

It's fun trying to get used to some completely different new medium once again. Like starting over, in a good way.

it's a flat oval canvas with a slight curve to the edge instead of a sharp corner. A soft, curved bevel.

I painted on a curved surface. The only digital manipulation I did was to adjust the curves of the white background it was sitting on so it is really white in the photo and not grey.

Pretty good! Trying to squeeze in time to paint while we are doing a remodel
but, when we are done I will have an awesome new studio to paint in, both traditionally and digitally, so I'm really excited. I've got three digital paintings going, painting a little bit on them everyday...but I usually only get about 30 minutes to an hour free to do it.

yeah, like 10 minutes 
Sometimes the colors dry funny, and I have to repaint the section over before I can move on. That's annoying and takes more time, but when I get more advanced with the medium, I'll get faster too.
