I made this one to mimic the iridescent colors of raku pottery. It's in the shape of a diving eagle.This mask has sold, but I do commissions for those interested in a similar one.

This is probably a stupid question.
But... what is the base material for your masks? It looks metal, but i can imagine it would be rather heavy on the face.
Just wondering... because these really caught my attention and i'd like to try my hand at Masquerade masks.

They aren't metal, but a kind of sculpting resin that I use. Very lightweight, but still durable.

THIS is absolutely AMAZING. Not only is the design very inspired, but the level of detail in both the sculpting and the painting astounds me. You said that the color scheme was taken after iridescent pottery? Excellent choice. Bravo.
