Yet another commission requested by . She asked me to draw Kagome and Hiei under a tree. >_< I though I wouldn't be able to pull it off but I think it turned out decent. I really had fun with the grass on this one ^^ I love it when it looks all fancy and ethereal. Anyway I hope you guys like it.Medium: Adobe Photoshop CS2

Such lovely, lovely work! The grass looks soft and inviting, and so does Kagome's lap. LOL! You hit just the right note with this one, again. ^_^ I love the hint of the dangling blossoms, -- they add a delicate, romantic feel to the moment. And I really like the dappled sunlight on the trunk of the tree, -- that's such a nice touch. It's details like that that turn a nice piece into a truly memorable one. The colors are beautiful, and I particularly like the make of Hiei's jacket. It really suits him perfectly. The pose is just what I was envisioning, but the expressions on their faces are so much more, -- they're just brimming with emotion.
I've always thought your portrayal of Kagome is lovely, and you really know how to bring out the best in all of your male characters, -- especially Sesshoumaru. But, I have to tell you, I think your drawings of Hiei elevate him so he could give the daiyoukai a run for his money, even among those who aren't particular Hiei fans. And for those of us who ARE, well, I just thank you for giving us a chance to see him through your talent. ^_^
