Description My version of the classic image of Christ called,'The Sacred Heart'. Traditionally, the image depicts Christ touching his wounded heart, on fire with love and surrounded by thorns. My version has this, but also, more ephasis on His sacrifice.

Thanks for the kind words. I like the idea sometimes, of giving Christ extra long hair...As for barbers of his era, I suppose they were out there-though it may be been more for the rich folk-keeping hair much shorter. I am sure someone out there trimmed beards and head hair with knives from time to time...Would be interesting to look up!

Even otherwise, I think it was plausible that Jesus had shoulder-length hair, I mean, in Middle-Eastern cultures, it was good to have long volumptuous hair.
