I got you TWO things actually, D-LAND WAS FRICKIN AWEOSMOSMEOSMOSMEOSMEOM dood, it was amazing, ESPECIALLY the pirates ride, srsly it was like omg so cool! and and and and and and and and I didn't see ONE giant fake micky mouse or disney princes, I WAS SO HAPPY, I'm terrified to death of the disney princesess.... *shudder* (for obvious reasons)

You see, I would have stood my ground there and slash everywhere near me with my Master Sword. One hit with it should stun, then kill with the golden arrow... Wait, that was Gandalf in the original Zelda...

Link should remember that. Why would this really scare him?
Maybe I went too old school for links memory. Then again, I'm talking about the original Nintendo version of the game.

They basically reincarnate a new Link hero for each game, don't they? Even though they all look and behave exactly the same, have the same basic characters in each game, they aren't all the exact same person. So it stands to reason that each time Link is recreated, he's given a fresh start -- no past memories and no experience.

Little Phantom Hourglass Link is an adventuring newbie. Giant vanishing crabs might be a little disturbing the first time they're seen. (:
