Hester is one of the Demons from His Dark Materials. Currently touring the uk, as part of Birmingham REP and North Yorkshire Playhouse in collaboration with Blind Summit (who I had the pleasure of working with and gave me the opportunity to make Hester's Head and paws and painting her)She's made out of Plasterzote....and thats about it, a little bit of wood and metal for the handles but practically all plasterzote (which is another name for that 'funky foam' you get for kids to play with, or that camping ground mats are made from.)

Did you paint the details on this? If so, what kind of paint did you use? It actually looks wonderful! The clip was good- I wish the puppeteers would have worn black though instead of just street clothes...
