Nice u start to learn the basics in this, it's really fun .
The stars: They are nice, just maby a little to many at ame place, you should reduce the ammount a little, otherwize it's TO many of them. Mabye make some more difference in the sices to, optional.
THe transition between red and blue is really dam good man, exellent job there man. So are the planets, they look awsome.
ALlaround very nice

The shading of that lower planet is just wierd, i don't understand it qiote though... mabye just some mistake i dunno. Cus if a planet is shaded, u still should be able to see the stars lying behind it even if the shade is on the planet, in this case it's shadow out in space as well, and thats kinda wierd .
Tip: To easily get better (not that it's not) stars is to play around with "brightness/contrast", it's often easier to make like 3 layers with "noise" on and make like 1 layer really low ammount of stars, but really hard glowing and so on, u get the point.
Make it a bigger rez (often apreciated by others (including me)) , hehehe.
That bright glow in the middle is nice and all that, but when it's positioned like here, straight in the middle, the picture easil get very symetrical, wich I think is not good with space sceenery, just try to make it outa focus, anywhere but in the middle .
______
This is no critism or anything like that, this is just for helping u to grow as an artist and person, with skill, confidence and pride. Youre a really nice friend to have so I just want to do anything i can to help u get better.
Peace out man, later
