Description Not a specific Lovecraftian creature, just a sort of generic HPL one. This was for an article written by Gary Gygax ( creator of D&D) about adding variety to alien races in RPGs. I couldn't resist smuggling in some Mythos.

Looks kind of like a combination of a Yithian and an Elder Thing. It also looks like someone just surprised it by shining a flashlight in its face. Creepy critter.

Thanks, Britta. It was from a photo I took in my basement back in college, the pre-flash already startled it a little and then the actual flash kind of washed out the image- bummer as it is the only reference I have for these creatures.
