Lenny was finally at the house when it started to rain a little more harder and when he got inside taking his wet paint stained backpack off, he heard Swifta and her friends talking in the living room, including Brandy, her friends and even Bret and Tiff (Jenny’s class mates from teenage school.)

As Lenny examined the silver tube for a little bit more, he hopes that he would get their appreciation this time by showing it to them.

He hurried into the living room seeing that the room was clean from their stepmother’s vacuum that’s now sitting on the floor next to the sofa.

"Swifta," her stepmother said, "Jenny’s mother called, she said that there’s something hiding in Tennessee."

"I’ll bet it’s this one person that I’ve been looking for all my life," said Swifta, "you know, the one who causes chaos to our country."

"Jenny will be right over to get you." said Mom.

"But Swifta," Brandy complained, "you promised to have a slumber party here tonight!"

"It’s just going to be a quick trip, Brandy." said Swifta, "I’ll only be gone for a few hours."

"Wait a minute, Swifta," Lenny called as he came into the room, "I got something to show you before you go."

"Lenny," Swifta sighed, "I don’t have time for this!"
Lenny showed her the tube. "Alright,"Swifta sighed again as she took the tube thing out of his hand, "so what is this, some kind of old cheap battery?"

"I don't know what it is," said Lenny, "but I don't think it's from anywhere in America."

Swifta inspected the item carefully, but did not smile to Lenny. "Where did you find it?" she asked.

"At that museum on my way home from school." Lenny answered.

"You stole a museum item?!" Brandy gasped.

"No," Lenny frowned, "it wasn’t on any of the displays, I found it on the floor, the whole place was a wreck," he then trembled, "and then I saw this dark mysterious shadow of a monster lurking behind a corner with it's mouth wide open!"

"Well, I’ll see to this by next week," said Swifta putting the tube in her coat pocket, "for now, I have another problem to take care of."

"Don’t I get something as my reward for finding you a clue to something mysterious?" Lenny asked with a cute smile.

"What kind of reward?" asked Swifta.

"If it’s about getting a cupcake from our slumber party," Brandy said, "you’re out of luck, kid."

"Actually," Lenny asked, "I was wondering if I can come with you and Jenny to see who you're after?"

"No," his stepmother answered, "it's too dangerous."

Lenny clapped his hands in excitement, "Oh thank you, thank you, that's all I eve-," but then he stopped, "wait a minute, what was that?"

"No," his stepmother repeated, "it's too dangerous."

"But I can stay out of the way!" Lenny offered.

"You can stay out of the way by staying here." said Swifta.

"Could I have a souvenir?" Lenny asked.

"No."

"Can I see it from a video camera you got?"

"Absolutely not!" Swifta shouted a little.

"Lenny," stepmother scolded, "we don't have time for this we want to get this done so the world can stay in peace."

Lenny knelt down quickly and begged in his complaints, "But every time you save the place you're in, you always do a little hangout, I never get to have any adventures, I've never even been outside of Ohio and most adventures seemed very exciting from TV especially the cartoons!"

"Yeah, that's nice," said Swifta, "but still, it's too dangerous, you're not going anywhere unless you're all grown up."

"Please, I'll do anything," Lenny cried looking around the room til his eyes spotted the vacuum cleaner, "I can-uh-vacuum the living room!"

He quickly picked up the vacuum cleaner as his stepmother tried to stop him," Lenny, no, it’s already clean." But when Lenny turned the vacuum cleaner on, it started blowing instead of sucking and it blew a whole bunch of dirt out like crazy.

Then it zoomed backwards up to the ceiling like a rocket with Lenny holding on. After hitting the ceiling, the vacuum cleaner flew down and hit the floor and than swerved around the living room lots and lots of times with Lenny bumping into furniture including knocking all the books off a shelf.

All of Swifta’s girlfriends were freaked out about getting hurt, so they panicked and ran out of the room.

"LENNY BE CAREFUL!!" Swifta screamed as she did her best trying to grab Lenny out of the air, but after flying over Swifta's head, the vacuum took Lenny out through a window. CRASH!!! breaking the glass!!

Swifta ran out the front door into the rain, hurried around to the left side of the house and found Lenny picking himself up out of a puddle rubbing his hurt head.

"Swifta," Lenny whimpered pointing at the vacuum, "my foot’s stuck!"

But Swifta made an angry pose instead of showing that she's sorry for him, "You clumsy little brat!!" she snarled, "you broke our trusty vacuum and almost-"

"MY VASE!!!" their stepmother screamed from back in the house.

Swifta ran back inside with Lenny following her along with the broken vacuum cleaner stuck on his right foot causing him to slow down a little.
