Crapsters long time since I promised some updates, but I'm not in the mood to actually finish what I started. I'm sure I will, one day
So here's the knot direction I promised in last update & to one of my friends here on dA. I did manage make 3 "N7"s from then, I'm just to lazy to take a pic and upload

This is just a quickie one. There have been changes made. You can see the first logo, a crappy one at that. Totally my fault, 'cause I wasn't thinking
.I fixed the problem for anyone who might make a bracelet of her/his own though. I had only 2 rows of black knots at the beginning, now there are 4. That only occurs when you start the bracelet, so this should fix that
.All in all I think it looks quite good
.I promise my next update will be with the direction of the knots and a bigger bracelet preview

As per 's suggestion I've thickened the "N" and I think it really looks better
. I'm also happy to announce that I've been to the store and bought the material

I managed to also come up with the N7 logo, but I had help this time
.wrote me and asked if I were interested in doing the N7 bracelet too. What she didn't know was, that I was already brainstorming how to make it. However I was failing, miserably if I may add. My mind was going in this direction [link] same as my shield, and I was unable to intertwine the strings so that the logo would come out
. I was all ready to give up on the idea. BUT 's was going here [link] , at least that's what I think, since she mentioned red & white lines .And here it is, not finished of-course. The direction of the knots missing, again. Also no preview of an actual bracelet, no material to work on yet

I absolutely love this, and am in the midst of making one for myself!
I have a question though. In your example, the row of white connecting the black and the red is very solid, whereas mine is coming out looking a bit like a dotted line. Is there a certain angle you suggest pulling the string, or something, to make this come out much smoother and look more like a solid line? Thanks!
I might even suggest making a version that has two rows of white and another red, so the stripes are more prominent. Still fantastic, though!

But I didn't want to add more strings to an already wide bracelet that would take ages to make. I'm lazy that way, sorry. I can try to make you a version with 2 extra white strings and I'll probably need to add another red one, no promises tho :/. I do make sure my knots are quite tight, makes the bracelet a little stiff tho.

Haha, not as bad as mine, I'm sure! It's just not pretty, which is interesting, since I'm usually quite good at these bracelets.

Oh man, this is really classy and splendid. Not directly what I had in mind, but it follows pretty close and it probably much easier for you to make a reality (Since I have NO CLUE how this bracelet knotting thing works

So you think this will work? The pattern I mean, it is recognizable right?
I'm asking, 'cause the stripes are suppose to be horizontal to the N7, and I just can't make it like that, even if I turn the N7 for 45°

No, I think it's awesome! I think if I had any critique, it would be that the N isn't as fat as the 7, you know, like wide? Maybe add another line to the front and back of the N and see how that looks. But really, who knows until it's made in real life... you could always tug it tighter to make things skinnier, right?
But I'm just happy to have a pattern for the N7 logo! I can't wait to make one and wear it!
