Contest Prize forInked and Colored in Adobe Photoshop CS 2 » 78 layers
The last Contest Prize is done >w< I sketched on Kerberos for a whole week, usually before I went to school. When I started inking it on Friday I would've never thought about finishing this pic in... 2 and a half day xD; Uhm yeah... what to talk about...
First of all... it's *FREAK5225 's character Cerberos in... a forest thingie? oo; With... glowing birds xD; I wanted to draw a different background in the first place; an all in all grey one with humans and I failed it when it came to drawing humans *drop* I hope this one is okay, too. I don't have problems with it, it's just that my tree-grass-sky backgrounds get boring and I'm a bit sick of it. Next pick won't have a background like this D8<
It was a lot of fun to draw Kerberos. I love the black-orange combination a lot *v* and... white is a wonderful color as well xD;
Uh... I apologize for the more or less boring pose. I couldn't think of something else recently. Dynamic poses... are hard... I can't even imagine them ;A;
So... dunno what to say more ovo; Wish me good luck for my Math exam (have to write it tomorrow) and... I guess I'll need a lot of luck because I have to "translate" the exercises before I can start with the mathematic stuff |D; Would take a while to explain I guess...

omg... it so.... I don't know what to say...
Lets see.
For starters, when I saw the glowing birds, I was like "omg! that is so cool and pretty 8D". And the little pale, sparkle stuff in the air caught me by surprise.
I love how he is holding the feather and the two other glowy transparent feathers in the background as well.
I read your 'Author's Note' and I am glad that you chose a forest background. Kerberos is not much a people person and loves solitude. But then again that idea (the black-n-white one w/ people) you stated in your 'Author's Note' was a brilliant one too.
Don't feel bad about the people thing, I'm learning how to draw people too.
I just love this pic in so many ways. 
Kerberos is one of those dark characters that tries to seek the light; and this pic just fits him perfectly
I'm glad you liked his color scheme. I always wanted a character that was different from the many sonic characters that are here on dA.

I love how the leaves are shaded, especially cool on the background this time. The ghost birds have no eyes oO;
and whoa, *FREAK5225 has a strange character design... almost as bizarre as my more original ones
Hm... as for a little more critique, I think you should have had a little bit of tall patches in the grass, to add a little more realism xD;
