Description
The flower, not the sled.Old nighttime shot near a well-lit fountain. But mainly I'm just trying to distract myself from being nervous about moving by submitting things. Granted, I'm also really excited, but I feel very off this evening - my old home seems foreign, my new one seems intimidating. And then there's the stress of getting all of my stuff there, and making sure the cat goes to the vet before we drag her onto the plane, and ack. I need to stop worrying and just be excited to finally go to Seattle. Which I am.

It's funny, the picture itself turned out as something of a surprise; I was literally having to just dangle my camera out over the edge of the water and hope for the best when I clicked the button (since the roses were on the edge of a large fountain/pond type thing). The light worked wonders for me, though.

It went pretty well, though it's been a stressful month or so. Thank God you New Zealanders prolly don't have U-Haul, otherwise I'd suggest you never ever use their U-Boxes. My boyfriend and I were without our stuff for 15 days thanks to continuous glitches in their system (first ordering an extra truck for no reason, then failing to take out autopay, which caused the boxes to ship almost a week late, and then not calling us when our boxes actually got to Seattle). Ugh, moving sucks. But 'tis done!
