I only put him down on the rock for a few minutes to get the photo. Just like I do with my snakes and turtles when I take them outside for some fresh air. Sirius didn't really seem to mind the rock at all. He actually seemed to enjoy the sun on him and the warm rock.

I meant that many micro bugs can attack your spider (they're too small to eat them)

Oh yeah those I'm very aware of. I only let him sit on the rock a bit but before I did so I really checked it over to make sure there wasn't any mites or other small bugs that could harm him. I'm very careful with that anytime I take any of my animals outside. I don't need them getting anything that's for sure!

Just realize I commented about this guy on the reply about your gorgeous corn snake. Duh, should drink coffee first, make my replies second! In any case, this guy does look like velvet and your corn has gotten huge since I last saw a picture. His color is really intense too, just beautiful. So now that I've got that straight, just ignore my other dopey comment. I really DO need to drink coffee!
