Description Okay this map is from an alternate history where Germany was victorious in WWII. I created it for a map challenge but didn't finish it in time.

When I made it I was thinking it was TL where Germany got more help from its Axis partners. Italy controls the Adriatic nations while the Vichy French maintain some of their colonial holdings which are now Axis holdings. A number of countries are administered by the Axis powers. Spain is a friendly fascist state. Sweden got invaded sometime after WWII, so they are still occupied along with northern France. I'd imagine that any Axis victory in Europe leads to a Cold War with the US, so that's why they hold onto Northern France.

Britain sometime after WWII is taken over by a fascist party viva election or more likely coup with German help. Ireland remains free but serves at the Axis's biding just as Turkey does. European Russia was taken along with Moscow. Although the map doesn't show it, large parts of central Russia remain open but they can't mount much of a resistance to the Germans, plus since Russia is defeated in this TL, the Japanese probably moved into Siberia.

Wait so France's African colonies are now owned by the Axis Powers, and I thought around the 50s and 60s France gave their colonies independence.

In most axis victory alt-hist. maps Ireland is unified and/or Scotland/Wales is independent. Findland should get more of Russia. Good easy 2 follow map though.

Yeah this one was done pretty quick and dirty, but agreed on those border changes. Thanks for the comment!

I'm guessing this map was inspired by the novel Fatherland?

To an extent. An Axis/U.S. Cold War idea is one I've been thinking about for a while.

Vichy France was never the Official name of axis-puppet France. It was offically called The French State.

Hmm... one good sign of friendship that Germany could show to Ireland is the "convince" the British Union to cede control of Northern Ireland over to Ireland.

Yeah that makes sense, an error on my part there. The map was more done for fun than serious AH.

Only if the Nazis collapsed in the end of it. We are much better off that they ended up on the ash heap of history. Thanks for the comments!
