Description Go forth Paladin Seeker. March beyond the emerald plains of your homeland, through the endless forest of Evermore, beyond the crag of Fangs, into the barren heartland of our enemy. You must seek to reveal the secrets of the Lich, to solve his riddles, and tear down his doctrine of lies. You our gleaming Avatar, shall be a beacon of light in the heart of darkness. Gather the lost lambs and show them the way home. Overpower the beast of the forest, slice through the ill intentions of the mountain folk, and put the fear of our Lord back into the hearts of the undead who will stop at nothing to taste your sweet flesh. For you are our last defense against the oncoming storm the Lord of the Dead seeks to lose upon this dying world. Let not the fear take you when they tear at your flesh and slash at your faith. For you are protected by so much more than the earthly tools we have armed you with. Pick up your cross and aid in the quests of the Lone hearts you find, reinforce the might of the Aegis, and protect the clerics living among the wolves. The prayers of your people will carry you through the darkest nights and allow you to endure the blackest hearts. While we may never meet again in this mortal realm the lives you touch will be eternally grateful of the precious life you laid down in their defense. Go forth Paladin Seeker, for yours is a perilous quest that must be endured till the end.

Oh now that is a wonderful piece. The way you made the metal shine in some parts really does make the pic stand out even more. Modern mixed with fantasy looks cool

Many thanks, the metal wasn't as successful as I had hoped it would be but its a start. I actually think I ended up with a much more realistic effect on the rock formations.

Sigh these pieces have been getting such dismal feedback overall that I think I'll just focus on an original illustration for the time being. :\

Well it takes practice until you get the hang of it. Just like you told me. I'm working on my pic right now and trying to get it done as soon as possible.

Yeah I'll get there some day... will it be fore or after I'm forced to get a real job though. :\

You need to try more preliminary skeletal work for your future pieces. ^_^

Visualize the central mass as a series of interconnected spheres boxes and cylinders. Use the center Line (Where the spine goes) to denote the flow of the action.

Hmm, interesting. The costume seems more modern than fantasy however

Lol if your wanting this story (which is still very much in its early development stages) to fit perfectly into any one genre I'm afraid to say that it will never be purely a fantasy, a Sci-Fi, an Action/Adventure, a Horror, or a comedy. Its a tale that will span multiple time periods and as such its characters, villains, gear and technology will change very much one story arch to the next.

While it has the primary feel of a dark fantasy adventure the monsters and situations that inhabit this still developing world got their start in a sci-fi origins, and will eventually reach that point again by the end. I think premise wise its similar to the Japanese animation Trigun in that it was a western with heavy sci-fi elements. This is a story where the villains could range from shambling ghouls, dragons, and cybernetic giants. So your bound to see elements that feel unique or out of place from time to time... but they are unique and out of place to the characters in that world too.

Well I was never asking for the story to stick to one genre. I'm just saying be careful of getting them mixed up, especially with terminology. Of course don't suddenly become a genre at a pivotal point either, and I pray both doesn't happen at once (Cowboy Bebop to me, never felt like it had a genre to begin with, and then suddenly became a Sci-Fi Bloodshed in it's godawful finale) Just wanted to give that advice, hope you don't mind.

Well with Bebop I feel that if they hadn't given it such a powerful definite ending that it would likely not have ended at all. Just drop off at some random episode. xo Which is enormously annoying to me when good series just stop from lack of funds > .<

I'm still working out how my own ending will commence and how to bring certain key story lines together. The middle is going quite strong, the beginning still needs some ironing out and the end still needs more foundation work.

Well for CB, I thought the finale was lackluster because it ended too quickly, there wasn't enough time to flesh out the other characters so it really just comes down to Spike genociding one-dimensional characters. Add to that I never liked Spike and always thought he was an uncool, unoriginal, and too aloof a character to be likeable. But that's just me, I sometimes wish I wasn't the only person in the world who thinks like that about him.

Personally I thought the series could have gone on another 2 seasons before finishing up but that creative team seems to prefer not going over a certain episode count for some reason. Wolfs Rain, and Samurai Champloo, for examples.

Maybe Spike is just that sort of character who rubs you the wrong way. I'm not easily made truly angry but man when I find the right person they dam near push me to physical violence. > .<

The sort of person who never shuts up speaks with one tone (Loud) and who allows themselves to rationalize the most depraved notions and wonders why society wont do the same. thinking they are smarter and openly provoking me to make themselves look superior in a crowed.

Just because I'm a very quiet person, who doesn't usually speak unless I got something important or at least humorous to say. Grrr now u got me all steamed just remembering him. >)

Well they want to avoid quality drop in later seasons, however I agree it could have been longer. They were planning another season so I think 2 in total would have been enough.

And yeah I really don't like Spike. I can get pushed pretty hard when it's a subject I hate. (which thankfully isn't many. The most recent of those however is Mass Effect 3's ending) Sorry if I steamed you for remembering that guy. I have a bad habit of angering people when I don't mean to
