"Other dragons call me soft for taking lesser races' lands as vassals rather than raze them to the ground like a 'true dragon'. 'Burn their farms, take their treasures and eat them all to the last whelp!' they scoff. But what does that bring? Useless wastelands of ash and bone, and I must fly further each time for food, treasure, or to find a mate. And what legacy does one leave besides that of a mindless beast?
It is...wasteful. CONQUERING the short-lives has granted me more treasure by tribute than even my best raids. My conquests know who their master is: no self-proclaimed 'heroes' assail my lair, and many even worship me as their god. I have eaten well, in livestock and the condemned my vassals send me. I have sired many young from my harem of dragonesses, all whom were drawn by my wealth and power...and my pets.
Let the dimwits roar and burn.

I adore this! It has very many, very nice details. I honestly wonder if this is not a picture, because it looks very realistic an detailed.
The dragon's wings are slightly transparent, which really adds to the whole thing - and let's not forget about all the little scales! I can barely even imagine how much you must have worked on this, because it looks absolutely GORGEOUS.
The shadows are places right, and all the textures are on-spot. The more I look at this, the more I discover new things hidden in the image.
Overall, I'd say this is a very nice piece of art - if it's not a picture. Like seriously, that looks way too realistic to be drawn! Are you sure dragons don't exist?
The only thing I didn't give all stars was originality, and that's because I've seen other drawings of dragons flying around a castle. Though, I haven't seen any this nice before as far as I can remember! Keep up the good work. <3

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If dragons were real this would easily be mistaken for a photo. The tiny details in the landscape and castle are spectacular! And the lighting is absolutely gorgeous. The dragon is amazing as well, everything about this is perfect. Lol i just noticed a dragon in the background too. This artwork brings story tale fantasies to life. The trees and greenery are so realistic, and all the different colours are stunning.
Overall this is a stunning piece of work. Absolutely magnificent. Incredible. All those words and more.

Holy shit, man. This is a really, really good piece. I may not be a high-class critic, but I know good art when I see it. Absolutely love the colors. The design is top notch. I'm insanely impressed. The dragon looks really good, as well as the castle next to it.
Honestly, I see nothing wrong with this piece of art. I also love the fact that I find more and more small details the more I look at it. Overall, love it, and I gotta say I'm a fan of your other works as well. I have a soft spot for dragons, so I would've loved this no matter what. Magnificent.

Dear panjoool,
this is a fantastic artwork! Even tho the dragon is a rather fade red, it still causes a beautiful contrast to the green-bluish scenery. The composition is very eyecatching, altough it seems almost too flawless, since every element is clearly visible. You have a lot of beautiful details hidden in your image, like the thin clouds below the dragon or the path on the ground. In most of the cases the shadows are in the right angle to the sun. There are shadows on the castle that seem to come from the dragon, but I think the dragon looks a bit smaller than intended (i thought the dragon was closer to the viewer so it would not cast a shadow on the castle). The translucent wings of the dragon make him seem even more realistic! I think you did well by putting a darker area on the left side, but i think the texture of the trees there is a touch too different from the trees in the rest of the image. All in all i love your artwork, i hope your creativity never fades!

I really like this image, quite awakening for the imagination. Especially liked the surprise of what looks suspiciously like a pair of little cars in the bottom right corner; brought it straight out of fantasy and into reality!
