Description Redraw/redesign of this . I didn't it that much, nor did I like the picture itself, so I decided to just completely redraw it. I REALLY like the design now! The shading is a bit haphazard, and I might go back and fix it later, but right now I’m just really happy with how this design turned out.

She’s 15 and one of the three original girls that were meant to hold the spirits of the 3 who found the Holy Grail. Unfortunately, the other two were murdered when demons attacked her home, so Karshast is the only one left. She’s more than a little traumatized and nowhere near ready to deal with two new (and incompetent) teammates, but she feels that she must for the sake of her fallen friends.

I do that as well with my OCs. It's a combination with them being parodies ("Where are the frills?!") and me being a bit lazy XD

Yeah, that's another reason. I'm a beginner, so having to draw lots of frills and details every time would make me go insane XD

Yeah, when I first started out detail was KILLER as well. Dx It gets easier over time though! Keep at it!

I'll do my best ^_^

My first plan is keeping it chibi and super-deformed. Drawing fingers and feet is pretty daunting, and I'd like to improve the overall poses before tackling those two XD

That's what I did at first too! XD Have you tried drawing from real life or photography before? I did that for a period of time with hands and feet and it helped a LOT. 


...okay, I did that with hands, but not feet. I still hate feet. >_>

And I used photos once or twice before, but publishing the final result has a few legal problems AFAIK XD
