This New Years Eve, I took a whirlwind trip down the power corridor of Connecticut to New York. The entire seaboard was singing, as it would seem, with the breath of steam power and the vibration of 100 year old electricity. This is the stuff of my heartsong.This is the PSEG plant, coal fired and the last of its kind on the seaboard.

Why is it the last? That is oddly irresponsible for a country that wants to reduce its dependency on fuel imports...Cretins, Imbeciles and Idiots running the show as always. At least over here no one wants to remove coal fired plants, and new power blocs are actually being built, with magnificent sized boilers.
