There is definitely something dark about it. I ended up flipping it. Eventually I will change the image here, or post some more of the easel.

Thanks. Yeah, I am trying to paint on larger formats and going back to regular acrylic. Bound to look a bit different, I guess. I think my year of painting mostly with watercolor and liquid acrylics taught me a lot, though.

I love that the bright, angry reds bore into the calmer, cooler colors. Very evocative.

I like it! very dramatic! I like how the blue slashes across the red. It makes the red horizontal stop! Almost dimensional,like a fire hanging in the sky.
