1st Place in the Flowers 'n Fools Parade 2023!
"We LOVED how you chose to dive right into the chaos of the parade with your piece, but still remain focused on the horses in the parade. You included all sorts of lovely details that didnt take away from the main focus of your image, such as the missing petals on the flowers, the hummingbirds, and the perfect mashup of flowers and fools -- well done!"

My entry for the Nordanner Flowers 'n Fools Parade !
This was an admittedly painful effort that combined watercolours and coloured pencils. The gold accents do actually shimmer as they are painted with mica, but that's pretty much impossible to scan!

Horses featured are Moosiferr 's A754 Nani The Phwuck , my A7971 Tropical Indigo , nikki2142 's A7179 Steve and General A196 Tweety .
