Very sloppy drawing but here is my new dogboy. Obviously he's a drummer LOL. He's in the band with Toccata and Ricardo. He doesn't have a name yet...I haven't decided if I'm gonna give him a normal name like Whitney and Ricardo, or a fun and weird name like Cola and Toccata. I guess maybe I'll go weird because I don't have a male kemonomimi with a weird name yet, but I'll have to think about what it should be.

I'm more or less happy with the outfit. Not totally sure about the red, and the jacket should have more patches (I'm lazy pls forgive me) but I feel like I've finally been able to design an outfit that's complex enough to fit in with my other kemonomimis without just slapping a bunch of random pins on the jacket (cough Ricardo cough). Of course I had to give him a studded choker, because he's a dogboy, and the harness is also supposed to be a dog joke lol. Was quite proud of myself for that one, though it did mean I had to scrap the idea of giving him a striped sweater under the jacket bc that combined with the harness straps would be just too confusing to look at. Also proud that I actually designed a punk character without giving them boots lol. Not that I don't love boots, bc I do, but idk...glad I went with these shoes. Note that the shoe is not necessarily to scale--I think I got pretty close to a reasonable size for once, but maybe it's still a little big--I just wanted to show off his footwear but really didn't want to draw a fullbody LMAO.

His hair was originally inspired by Mikey Way in the Desolation Row music video, though I ended up changing the style a bit from that initial base. Speaking of bases, time to confess: I used a chain brush and then traced over it with my regular lineart brush to do the chains because, say it with me now, I am lazy. Weird place to drop that, I know, but I gotta put it in before I forget about it. Weird place to say this as well, but I finally have an OC with a septum ring! I kinda want Hunter to have one too but I haven't committed to it yet lol. I like it a lot though and I'm glad I remembered to give one to this guy. Almost gave him an eyebrow piercing too but I decided I didn't like it and yoinked it. In the original sketch, he was going to have his tongue hanging out bc dog and I thought about giving him a tongue piercing. I haven't really decided whether I'm going to do that or not. It is a possibility though.

Anyways. This is extremely messy, especially with the studs (I knew I was going to get extra lazy and sloppy with those and I was right) because I just wanted to get him designed and posted already. Rushed the colouring too, hence the indecisiveness about the colour scheme. Either way though, I think I'm fairly happy with the design itself.
