This is actually for the current contest/feature over at Superhero of the Month , a superhero redesign/reimagine blog in the vein of Project: Rooftop .

Daredevil is, hands down, my favorite mainstream superhero, but I wasn't originally going to enter this one. I've had plenty of ideas for stick-wielding street-fighting ninjas, but they're all mostly early incarnations of one particular concept .

Nothing extraordinarily inspired had come to mind. That is, not until a recent Starbucks fueled conversation with my art-buddies ~MattWNelson and ~Montreuil led to this...

(also, really need a new/better scanner because this one doesn't scan watercolors worth crap)
