This was my entry for the most recent call for submissions over on Project: Rooftop , this time a costume re-design for Black Canary .

I tried to play up the fact that Dinah is one of the DC universe's premiere martial artists, while also coming up with a logo that actually matches her superhero name.

I'm actually pretty happy with the design, although after I did this I realized I (unconsciously) drew her in the exact same pose as the reference pic of Markus Monday. Nr.

Oh well... I'll just blame being sick and the cold medicine's effects.
