And it's good! It's much better than be obsessed with real person. If he were real i could not do a lot of things(like drawing dumb fanart etc) because i don't want to hurt him, but i can't hurt fictional character.

EXACTLY. I love fictional characters and have a crush on quite a lot of them, but they're not real and never will be. And yeah, I may have some NSFW dreams about them...but they're still not real.

Not all people are like this, sometimes it's just a plain crush on some fictional character but yeah, sometimes people tend to forget that they're not real. I hope those people realize that and are doing okay.

I have my faves, but I know that they aren't real. For example, I'm a Koopaling fan, but I'm aware that I won't find them shopping at the grocery store

True, sorry I said that earlier. It's just that people will get too emotionally attached to the character and later people(who are jerks) would them that they're aren't real and their feeling would hurt because reality sucks. I do have a character I love and wanted to be friends with is Eve Neuschwanstein from NEEDLESS.

I have several crushes on fictional characters but I know that they aren't real and besides I also known that the majority of the people who have played them are either older than me or dead in the case of Thuy Trang aka Trini from Power Rangers.

Thank you for making this stamp.
Every time I try to look up fanfics and fanart about Jim Henson's Labyrinth, fangirls obsess over Jareth's good looks and wish they were married to him. Sorry to burst your bubble fangirls, but if Jareth was real, he would not want to go out with a high school drop out that lives in her mother's basement out in the back woods. In fact, Jareth would be scared of those type of fangirls and run away.
I like the Skeksis from "The Dark Crystal", but I know they are not real. I don't bitch people out for hating the Skeksis. I just let people have their opinions and move on. Why can't some die hard Labyrinth fangirls do the same.

I know what you mean.
Some people can't tell difference fiction and reality. There's this one girl on DeviantArt and YouTube who obsessed with Duckman. Not to mention, she's a bully, hypocrite and a crybaby. It's creepy and insane and disgusting how this girl acts. She needs to learn that Duckman is not real. Or better, she needs to go to a mental hospital or jail because she's almost eighteen but acts like an 8 year old. I mean, she sends death threats to people over stupid stuff.
People need to grow up. They need to realize their perfect imaginary world does not exist and it will not ever exist because the characters they love don't exist.
And even if they were real, they're would be still people. They would have hearts, minds and feelings of their own. They wouldn't be toys for amusement. And anyway who thinks otherwise is a disgusting human being with no respect for mankind. Not to mention, a selfish, conceited, immature brat.
That's my two cents on the subject.

I really don't like that girl.
I mean she's almost eighteen and she still believes in Santa Claus.
She reminds me of the immature teenagers and manbabies on YouTube. You know the ones who go doing crappy, cringey videos and yelling at everyone acting like brats.
They should know their opinion doesn't matter. They're kids and immature adults, so until they get a real job or a college degree, their opinion doesn't matter.
They need to shut the hell up.

O.o obsessiveness over a fictional character! thats just plain creepy.
I have a crush on Soap from Modern Warfare but then when i decided to look up fan art of him on DA it came up with all yaoi of him with other guys from Modern Warfare all because fan girls are obsessed over 2 characters and cant decide which one of they like more so they make them kiss or whatever eww... that ruined Soaps image for me.
stupid f****** obsessive fan girls XP

Ok, in my defense, I don't get possessive. A bit obsessive, yes. But I don't care, it's all for lulz anyways, freaks the hell outta my real boyfriend, but oh well. It's still all for lulz. I'm not an uber fangirl.

(laughs) believe me I have been there, but then again when I did have a partner I did not like celebrating Valentine's day. I believe if one truly love's their partner they should show their appreciation for them all year, not just one day. Also that love between a couple shouldn't be based on how expensive or how much gifts are given. However, that is just how I feel. Everyone wants to be loved, yes. Obsessive love is never a good thing though, fantasizing once in awhile isn't bad, people just need to realize the lie between 'fantasy' or ficition and reality.

I actual find it better to fantasize about fictional characters because, to me, it's a bit creepy to fantasize about real people, because there is a change, no matter how slim, that they could actually find out.

Honestly I think when one fantasizes sexually about fictional or real people and decides to share it(generally through fan fiction or something of that sort)rather disturbing. I honestly don't care or see a problem with people fantasizing about their favorite artist/celebrity as long as they keep it to themselves and don't mix their fantasizes with reality and start bad mouthing the person's partner when they get one. It's kind of sad actually.
As I mentioned I don't believe one fantasizing about either a fictional character or a real person is a bad thing just a little frightening when they become to obsessive about it and actually think that person/character is THEIRS and then become violent about it.

I'm a fan of boy love myself. I see nothing wrong with those who enjoy it, or who make thier own boy love pairings. However Like with anything I don't like it when it becomes scary obsessive.

Agreed.
I'm ashamed to say I was like that when I was younger. xDDD
But then, I was one of those kids who thought the randomness of things (for example, shouting "Pie! 8D") were funny.
Not sure whether to look back and laugh or hide under a rock for a few more years.

haha I thought random words were funny too back in the day(because honestly even know if someone randomly comes up to me and shouts some random word I would still probably laugh).
It's fine to think a fictional character is 'attractive', but when people start going over-board and actually think the character is real. Is when I start worrying..and slowly backing away.

True, but I was horrible. XD Now that I look back, I'm pretty sure every teacher and classmate of mine in elementary and middle school was either annoyed by me or flat-out hated me.
I've... I've met people like that. One of my old friends used to have an extreme obsession with Edward.
Yes.
The Twilight Edward.
