And then I read this page and everything made sense xD Because we were with Rae so we knew this isn't real (or there would be a shitton of time gap in that last 'meanwhile' xD). I was like 'ooooh BB is having a nightmare, of course silly me' and I felt better, even though I was also like 'dude, even though is a nightmare, you're still picture her in little clothes xD naughty Garfield' hahahaha xD

I didn't think in the previous one, but I bet this is a nightmare, he didn't hurt Rae
Guess they both have issues to deal with inside their minds... I thought Raven was the only one, quite interesting...
Now I'm gonna find out!

Finally have some time to be able to comment and, wow...

What a weird turn of events here. One minute Raven's just exiting out of her mirror and the next BB is all chained up, and now we know why. This still leaves so many questions, (which I already spoiled for myself seeing as how I've already seen the other page XP) but even so, when I first saw the page before the next one, I really was curious as to what happened here. Like Smithy had said, the change in tone from the first panel into the other ones is really something. There is really a sort of joyous, playful tone in the first panel, but then things take a much dark turn in the next panel. It really makes you wonder what truly happened to Rae. You really feel for BB throughout this page too, he doesn't have any idea what is going on, and he can't even believe he could be responsible for causing this much damage to Rae. You can tell, not only by the wounds on her body, but just by her pose and body language that Raven seems really scared of him. I already read ahead so I spoiled the next page for me, but even so, this is a very powerful page you had made here. 

It really is sad all of the atrocities that are plaguing Europe right now. I do hope that peace can be restored for Europe soon. Please be safe out there Pi-Chan. Don't know when something terrible will happen again.

…..Looks like things are going to take a very dark and emotional turn in this comic now… The solemn and sad look in Raven’s eyes as she’s covered in all those terrible wounds is absolutely heart-rending and you can feel her sadness and pain… And BB did that to her???!!! This is going to be a heart rending time for the readers and a angst-filled, difficult time for BB and Rae….



It’s especially powerful because you have BB like so happy and cheerful to see Rae in that first panel! You lure the reader’s into a relieved state and the bright background helps with that beautifully…. But then…. Arrggghhhh the angst has arrived! The way Raven’s eyes are hidden is a great choice and it hints at the conflict in her heart so well and the sad revelation that’s about to come… How you’ve drawn her in that pose alongside the pure black background creates this eerie yet sad tone that immediately gets the reader in a worried state, it’s so powerful! But then her dialogue…. You can see the sadness in her words and picture her voice being filled with it because her pose shows that so well! And BB ASKED HER TO DO THIS!?! What an unexpected twist!!! And it comes right after Rae had just made peace with her own emotions! Just when readers feel calm you pull this shocking and sad twist…. Haunting…..

And to slowly watch the joy vanish panel after panel from BB’s matches the reader’s feelings. They too are beginning to see and realise what’s happened! You did this so well by suddenly going from Rae’s mind journey to this, skipping a few events… and it leaves the reader shocked and stunned like BB.


And BB did this to her?! But how? Why? When? So many questions to go with the tragedy that BB has actually lost control and harmed Rae. Just when we know she won’t hurt him, its HIM who hurts her! And to hear Raven tell him that he hurt her is so sad… You can feel the heartache she’s feeling because it’s clearly not easy for her to imprison him like this… But it was on his instructions! It’s all so hard-hitting and emotional and full of questions! All perfectly alongside the tragic nature of this coming right after Rae felt safe with her emotions! You definitely caught readers off guard making BB be the threat! You can see how shocked and confused BB is. He really wants to understand what’s happened and can’t believe it himself… and right after he confessed he loved her!!!


But that panel with Rae unveiling her horrible injuries is the most hard-hitting of the entire page and does all the right things to make the reader realise how terrible what happened was. It’s so shocking and heart-breaking to see how badly injured she is! We aren’t used to seeing her like this, cut, bruised, wrapped in bandages and bloodied…. And to know he did this is an absolutely heart-wrenching twist. The panel of her injuries… and the excellent way you’ve shown the sorrow and hurt in her eyes shows how much she is suffering and how painful this is for her…. Poor Rae, attacked and left bloodied and broken by the person she loves… just when we thought things would get better….


It’s a tragic twist in the story…. It’s left me and I’m sure every reader speechless… Poor BB having to learn and see for himself what he’s done… knowing he did this to her…. It’s heart-breaking and you can see (despite his blush XD) that he’s been torn apart by this… Pi, you really are taking this story in a darker and more emotional direction… and it’s both powerful, dramatic and emotional!


How did this happen? How could BB have lost control and done this? Just when they accepted their feelings… It’s so sad and a tragic twist! Phenomenal work Pi!


Yes, it’s terrible what’s been happening in Europe and seeing that these things are happening so often now…
