Well, this page XD

First of all, I love Starfire so much. I love how happy she is for her friend. Her expression alone in that first panel is the most adorable thing ever. I love the little dashes from Ravens eye to the clock. I feel like that could be some like comedic thing that would be in the show, you know, each shot is a new line getting closer to the clock with some like step-stair sound effect. I think I'm looking too much into that. xD I'm gonna assume that Raven is not late to many things, hence the expression. This has got to be the funniest scene that you have ever drawn for a page yet. xD It's a perfect combination with the background, her expression, and the dialog. I saw that you thought that you were a dork for laughing at your own stuff, don't be. I laugh at my stuff a lot, whether it's my animations or my jokes, both of which are usually bad, but I still laugh at them. I really like the wardrobe change you gave BB as well. Nothing to fancy, but it also doesn't look like he just rolled out of bed. You can tell he cares a lot about this date. Really good stuff as always. Next one...

For any reason, I can't see Rae getting late, but I do can see BB doing xD Maybe not in the first date, too much in game.. But in the rest of them... hahahah

Garfield? She calls him by his name and not by Beast Boy anymore I noticed. Well Garfield Mark Logan is his full name anyway and Raven is just...well, Raven, though in the comics she briefly went by Rachel Roth while still being recognized as Raven dominantly. BB almost believed that Rae second guessed the whole date thing until hearing his true name being called out. I wonder how he'll take to see Raven in feminine but still Gothic attire and that mini-skirt to boot. Makes me wonder if he'll have a "them legs" moments like his comical Teen Titans Go counterpart.

I look forward to see Cy's and Robin's reactions to learning that BB and Rae are an official couple.

RUN RAVEN RUN!!!! RUN!!!! XD XD HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Raven is LATE?!? XD XD Just saying that is hilarious but to actually see her late and running to her date with THAT face on is soooo funny! XD Raven: “Don’t be late”…. Hahahaha how ironic that line is now and it’s hilarious to realise you were foreshadowing SHE would be late! XD XD And of course…. A NEW PAGE!!!! Marvellous work as always that combines the hilarity of Raven’s situation with the tone of BB’s own so well! Awww, he truly looks downhearted at the thought… But don’t worry BB… Because once she arrives he won’t stand a chance when he sees her and how pretty she looks! XD


I love how you continue from the fun and light tone of the BFF secret scene! Star is still expressing how overjoyed she is in both her panels and even still has tears of happiness in her eyes with the cutest smile on her face! And her mini hearts as Raven runs off are another of the lovely little touches you include that brings every panel to life and makes it really look like its moving in the reader’s head! I really like how Star looks so cheerful while Raven still looks so calm/awkward… Until she notices the time! XD Hahahaha! She obviously can’t believe SHE is late! XD The bold and bright colours in the background of the second and third panels really capture the tone and show how panicked she is! You always make such excellent choices with them and they portray every scene so well! “Silent as the grave”: Now that’s a promise of silence for sure! Because Raven will surely ‘kill’ her if she tells anyone else (Not literally of course, I hope XD) XD XD Star is never going to leave her alone once she gets back! She’ll want every little detail reported to her! XD


Raven’s face! That face! XD XD That. Is. HILARIOUS!!!! XD You’re skill with expressions and the variety you show is brilliant Pi and you always make them match the scene so well from drama to sad scene (Tofu’s tears :’-( ) and of course comedy! That face Raven makes in that panel made me laugh SO loud! And Raven’s disbelief makes it all the more side-splitting! Probably the funniest moment in this comic for me! I just love the combination of that look on her face (blushing furiously and her eyes XD) with her utter disbelief she’ll be late and how ironic it all is! XD


But meanwhile…. You’ve said before you don’t like drawing backgrounds but I have to say the background looks amazing in that panel! What a pretty spot they’ve chosen for their date! There’s even a water fountain and flowers! You really do get better and better with your art from the characters to hands and the backgrounds! Amazing work Pi! Awww, poor BB looks so defeated and disappointed. But to see him still give a small smile shows even if it was true she changed her mind, he’d accept that and understand. And wow! So thrilled to see he’s dressed up very smartly for the date! You always make such amazing choices of what the characters wear! You did that with Raven and you’ve done it again with BB! That colour really suits him and I like how it’s the same as part of his TT outfit is! He’s put so much effort in to look nice for her and you can really see that!

Yaayyyy!!! Raven has arrived!!! Or is it Raven? I hope it is! She called him Garfield!!!! It must be her! I hope so! And my God he is going to be amazed when he sees her! I cannot wait to see how you do that scene but I know it’ll look fantastic and deliver in all the right ways!


A fantastic addition to this comic with a hilarious moment and a slightly sad one with poor BB thinking she isn’t coming! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

this is great I find it alittle funny that raven is all nervous for a change and that she's running late. Beast boy is looking great in that outfit it's just how I pictured him to dress up on their date and I cant wait for him to see raven in her new outfit.

Ow, he looks so sad when he thinks she doesn't want to date him anymore but he couldn't be more wrong   I can't wait to see the reaction of beast boy when he sees his date   So amazing as always  can't wait to see the next one
