So I wanted to have a play with making a poster style piece using Jill and Chris. It came out alright I think, I'd like to do some more work with multiple characters so there may be more in the past

The poster style is very cool toots, even though it mostly has the same background think it looks very stylish. Think you always work very well in your space. Like it never looks too grounded or busy and likewise it never looks empty and dull. Another awesome RE piece sir

I think this was kind of a gateway piece. Had been a while since I drew a few guys on the same piece on different physical planes and I used a lot of what I learnt here to inform my Claire v Zombies piece later. I would like to do something a bit more exciting with the background when I do this again. I'm glad you dug it and felt it went well, it was a lot of fun to do and it's really great to get encouraging words from you on it cos at the time it was a big risk in my brain like I felt liable to bugger it up lol.

I'm mostly very busy! I'm working part-time for a busy company which runs a big Japanese event and I'm self-employed doing PR work the rest of the time, leaving me little room for DA, and art in general. x_x Yourself?

I would say pretty much same old same old here lol, I'm a bit more involved at work now cos I have a proper team and department these days but otherwise just taking it one day at a time and doing my thing as normal

This whole "growing up" thing is pretty terrible.
And frankly my new job is amazing and I wish it was all I did for a living. I got paid to go to the UK Toy Fair last week. >_>

I wanna try some of them out to try all that kind of comic cover/poster 'multiple perspectives/characters' stuff out. I love all the old horror posters from the 80s and 90s but I always kind of get stumped trying to figure out something like that in terms of drawing
I've got another Chris and Jill piece I started tonight, it's nothing super-complex but I'm very happy with the pencils/inks. Hopefully I can put some nice colour on it too

I loooove Jill (could you guess) and Chris is fun too! I prefer him in the first four games (up to CVX) but I like his character in all the games. I like how he's gruff but awkward, like he's a tough bloke but he's not MR SUPER MANLY MAN MCMANLY! lol.

Yes, the classic Chris was awesome, I love him in Code Veronica
But I liked him in RE5/Rev/6 as well (Roger Craig Smith is PERFECT! as his voice actor!) ^^
And yes, even though he looks like a tank by now he still shows emotions... definitely one of my fav game characters of all time ^^

He's a character they've done a good job with throughout I think (although I didn't really see his bit in 6), like he's stayed consistent.
His tankliness is a bit...strange. But it's manageable cos they've kept his character solid I think

I just reached the point in RE1 where you find him locked up, and realised I'd forgotten one of the best lines in that whole game 'Dammit. This is quite the predicament we're in here!'
