Probably my favorite Pokémon Theory ever is the Kanto War.So, when you go to face Lt. Surge, he mentions that electric Pokémon saved his life during the war.
War? What war? I want answers!
I mean, it's a bit odd that there aren't a lot of men in Kanto outside of old guys and Team Rocket. And it's a bit odd that Red and Blue have no fathers.

My headcanon for Surge is kind of similar.
Basically, his Raichu once belonged to a friend who was killed in battle. Surge saved the then-Pikachu's life by evolving him, and took him in.

I don't know why, but Magneton's face (I don't know its English name, it's the Steel/Elec pokemon with magnets attached to it) really catches my eye, tha shading and reflects are nicely done, maybe that's why! x)
