Description
While a white mage by trade, I do have a special love for the more desctructive mage jobs.Unfortunately, due to the lack of qualified persons in my specialty, I am typically unable to indulge my urges to pull elements from the ether and rain destruction down upon my foes. Thus it remains more of a hobby of mine, something done when I have the time and there are no pressing tasks set for me.
Not to mislead anyone, I absolutely adore white mage. It will forever be my profession of choice. However, every once in a while... I will be called upon as a black mage, and I enjoy every glorious moment of it.
There's just something elegant about causing one's opponent to char from the inside out.
I didn't want to spend a long time on this. I think I spent longer than I intended though. XD

Hun, did you tried to do less big lines? I think you used pen tool, maybe can use more tiny brush? your lines are very clean and have quality, but thickness is the only thing that I always notice in most of your drawings that make me a bit uncomfortable.

Yeah I don't know why I use the bigger lines. @@ I know I shouldn't but somehow it usually ends up thicker than I wanted.

I like scholar too but it doesn't feel like whm or blm. (though the way I play it it's more like blm) I usually team up with two mage buddies of mine and we burn down pets but I have main healed on sch once with relative ease. I do enjoy the versatility though. My mentor in all things black mage is a lvl 75 scholar and he is pretty epic so I'm looking forward to that. It's probably my next job to 75 unless I get off my lazy butt and finish smn.

Another amazing drawing Priestess-chan! I agree with the concept of having this hidden passion for BLM. My main passion is my BLU, but I've had a realization that I think all Tarutaru have a passion for BLM and/or destruction, whether it's a hidden one or a main profession. In my case, it's my love of being a DRK/BLM that shows my capacity for destruction. BLU/NIN will forever be my true love in a job though. xD. I just love the exotic factor of being a BLU, travelling to locations I might normally never see and fighting monsters I'd normally only see in passing on my Chocobo, never actually fight. And in some cases, fighting monsters I never would have seen if I wasn't a BLU.

I'm not even worried about whm's DD abilities. Even if we did have attack spells it wouldn't feel quite the same as a black mage. My whm actually has almost everything I could possibly get to DD in, but it's quite different. Black magic is ... strange... enticing... a deadly force that calls for you to abuse it. X3

lol, Riaru got to about lvl 70 blm and got fed up with it, then leveled pld to 75. This past year he finally finished blm and is actually enjoying it for some events like dynamis.

Must admit that leveling PLD went fast for me too. Not that I got fed up with it. It began with a promise, then I just loved to level it and continued to AF levels ^^

I wanted to level cor, but I think I'll just do rng instead since I already have brd. I really like rng too. X3 I'm not sure what job is gonna hit 75 next though... smn at 67 but I haven't touched it in months, sch is 57, dnc and rng mid 40's... I'm supposed to be leveling blue mage at some point also. XD If I had to put money on it though I'd probably put it on sch.

This looks great. As you said before, you could have colored this "better" but the way you did color it gives it a uniquely simple look, and sometimes that kind of look can trump all the details in the world.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of it that way before. Though I do admit, some of my favorite images I've ever seen were the ones that were so delightfully simple that they looked absolutely effortless, but were so beautiful that I couldn't begin to describe them. Sometimes less is more I guess.
