Natsuki Kuga from Mai HiME, with her thoughts on Shizuru and her affections.Lemme simply say Pyro <3's Natsuki, and you should too.
Anyone who can bust through a glass window on a motorcycle, while firing a pair of ice pistols is automatically full of Awesome and Win. XD
This poster was created using stock photography of myself and photographs of the beach. They were then treated with filters and cutouts, and then colored in Photoshop CS2, adding text from Illustrator fonts I have saved on my computer. The font used was Dirty Ego I believe, downloaded from the Misprinted Type website online.

Good pic, and good understanding of Natsuki's character. The world is full of ShizNat, but that's always struck me as unfaithful to the actual show -- Natsuki does accept and forgive Shizuru, but she pretty clearly doesn't return her love. (Good thing, too. HiME Shizuru won't be safe in any kind of relationship unless she gets some serious therapy.)
Otome is another story, of course... but both characters are less interesting there. Ah well.

Thank you very much! I found that to be a very strong and subtle undercurrent in the anime that really struck me. As much craziness that happened in Otome, I enjoyed the original anime a bit more. <3

Finally, a pic of Natsuki in all her lone-wolf, gunner glory! Most of the ones I've seen show her with Shizuru tenderly, or with her being humiliated somehow.
She is one of the top female characters of all time..too bad Mai-Hime isn't as popular as it deserves. She deserves the spotlight more than Sailor Moon or Hanuro Sakura.

Yeah I really love Mai-HiME, and Natsuki especially. She held her own for such a long time! Running her own investigations and battling with her Child. Heck! She rode a motorcycle through a glass wall! <3

Thanks so much! Their story is really a painful and twisted one, and really adds another aspect to the overall plot of the anime. Natsuki has always been my favorite character, so I was at least glad that in later series the two of them were together.

It has this nice vectory qaulity that is really nice and I like how the picture looks as if you used pattern brushes on it. The posing is well done and who doesn't like chicks with guns
