My very first painting done with acrylics! Given to my mum as a prezzie~
love ya!Wow XD Not easy to use, ppl... Haha... Very glad for all the 'practice' i've done in photoshop so far... Kinda gives me more confidence now... I'm much less afraid of traditional medias than before ^___^ So... FEAR MEEEEE ACRYLICS!
Okay. I know I'm not that good at it yet (darn i just used it once! haha). XD There's much to learn nya... think one of the hard things about acrylics is sometimes the colors just come out so dull... i gotta find a way to mix them so they dont become dull.... there's much more that i cant really explain... but will keep trying anyway ^__________^ Geh~
The scan made the pic a bit brighter
and the clouds are a big mess of... something XDDone in 2 hours.

I think this is a wonderful first attempt with acrylics. I love the soft feeling you got with it, almost like watercolors. The girls pose if great. I can really sense the breezy summer atmosphere you've painted.

^__^ yes it does look like watercolor doesn't it? XD A friend of mine said i'd get a different effect if i didn't use the acrylic on drawing block... if i use a canvas it'll b different~ I haven't tried that yet though... but i hope to in the future~

Wow.. wonderful piece! The cloud is wonderful in this one.. I am still struggling with clouds, but I love the layout and the composition.. The coloring is magnificent as well.. I've never done acrylics myself.. I mean, outside of Painter that is *sheepish grin* ..

Awesome!!! I actually bought a Wacom tablet becuase I got so frustrated over the limitations of acrylics...... but then again, it doesn't subsistute for those moments when your making a mess and getting all worked up on the canvas..... Ah!!!!! The anarchy of making art! Sigh!
Have you considered taking on a life painting to work on your Painting skills in a different enviorment?
