lol, i dunno why your friend would want to sit on a wooden chair near the door rather than on the sofa...i didn't notice that mouse until someone mentioned. but anyway it's nice!

I have to say that the CD on the PS2 looks really awesome, everything is done well. Was the mouse REALLY there? >_>

i like the colors, and everyone's poses- its got a cool, detailed but abstract feel to it

Glad you're paying attention! -- it's kind of a reference to the fact we had a little mouse living in the house somewhere at the time. It was very difficult to get him to sit still.

I love the cartooney style you've used here, and the clever use of gradients on things like the clock and the chair and the lamp. Great work, especially from real life and on a laptop

that is incredible... the colours are great! perspective is weird, i think thats what i like about it. did you really do this from life? i mean how long did it take you?

Most of it I did in about as much time as it takes to watch a dvd -which incidently is a good way to get people to sit for you (don't tell them they are being drawn ) then I later went back to it, neatened up a few of the lines, added more detail and added the gradients. I have found it is good to now and again let go of any rules you know about perspective and just do it all by eye. Vectoring actually makes this easier as adjustment are easy to make.
