When I tried to get through Sakon's hideout the first time, I did not get through it. Kafei says to me (paraphrase)"I'm sorry green hat kid. If you can, get yourself out of here"I did NOT want to leave him there by himself to be trapped forever by Sakon. It was one of the saddest moments in gaming for me to play the song and leave him there. Can you imagine how he must have felt having failed his fiancee AND being trapped there forever? Not to mention, even though Kafei doesn't acknowledge it, the world is about to freaking end. I just wanted to capture that moment of sadness I felt for Kafei.
On an artist's note...
I finally got hair looking the way I want it too! Took some experimenting, but my shadng and shine are definitely improving.
And it is official. Kafei is now my favorite Person to draw.

Heres something you should try. Re-do the quest, but DONT give Anju the pendant. Go right to the end, and see what Kafei has to say.

I wouldnt say his life is completely filled of misery. Him and Anju pretty much say they will happily die togeather. He's happy when he is with Anju.
