Description
Rayrina walked down a long stone path. She had been instructed by Nimue to cut down some trees for no particular reason at all. Rayrina was always fond of nature and it hurt her to swing the heavy ax at the trees. Suddenly, a little green frog with large wings, long, black hair and a green coat appeared.

“Hello there, I’m Clary!” The frog said in a cheerful tone.

“Umm… hi” Rayrina replied.

“I have been watching you Rayrina, Nimue treats you very unfairly.” Clary said.

“Tell me about it” Rayrina said.

“You don’t have to cut the trees; you can use the extra logs that I have!” Clary whispered.

“Oh, thanks Clary!” Rayrina exclaimed.

Rayrina headed back towards the orphanage. She entered the little cottage and put the logs that Clary gave her near the fire place. She looked around, and noticed that there was no one there. All of a sudden, Rokai appeared.

“How did you cut down 30 trees in such a short while?” Rokai asked.

“That’s what I would like to know.” Nimue said coldly.

Rayrina froze for a few seconds. Her heart pounded in her chest.

“Ah… it was that young flying frog… Clary… am I right?” Nimue asked.

Rokai gave Rayrina an angry look. He wanted to know why this Clary person didn’t offer him help. Rayrina just stared at the floor. Nimue then pulled a long metal chain. Clary was thrown into the room. Her short neck was tied to the chains.

“Leave her alone.” Rayrina said coldly.

“Don’t worry, you’ll share the punishment.” Nimue spat.

The little bell rang at the top of the door. Nimue turned around to see that Polokus entered the store.

“Hello there, how may I help you?” Nimue said in a sweet little voice.

“I have come to adopt a child.” Polokus stated.

Nimue stepped aside, wearing a fake grin. Polokus walked around the room. Rayrina stared at him blankly. Polokus looked at Rayrina, remembering how Ly described her.

“What’s your name?” Polokus asked.

“Rayrina” She said.

Polokus stared at the child for a moment. She didn’t look like an elemental guardian; she looked like a female version of Rayman. Then again, I don’t look like much either. Polokus thought. All of a sudden, the “O” on Rayrina’s stomach started to glow silver, and Rayrina once more exhaled a long breath, blowing Nimue and Clary away. Clary stared at Rayrina in amazement, but Nimue looked more worried then amazed. So it is true. She thought.

“This one will do.” Polokus told Nimue. Nimue frowned, and nodded. Then she took off in the direction of Mr. Dark’s palace. Clary saw this as a chance to escape, and did so.

“Come now, we have much to do.” Polokus told Rayrina.
