ForI'm gonna try and draw more for Tantei so we can get the group back alive. I'm often in the chatroom too but my timezone is unfortunately pretty terrible. ;;; But I'm also gonna try and draw more stuff for me despite my obsession with groups (looking at a new one now) because I'd love to show off my real characters more as opposed to the group ones. But for now this is another group one.xD
Sooo.
This is what I imagined an older Athena to look like. did a very cute comic with an older Rai and Zen and it got me thinking about an older Athena. I'm not sure if she'd still be friends with the people in Tantei; I'm not actually sure anyone liked her very much. I think she'd still be close with Jayce and Randa though (urging them to marry any time she can) and probably her half-brother Dice. She's always been bad about modern technology so she might only be getting used to a cellphone now. xDD;; Athena was always really smart; so smart I think she could really do anything; genetics, forensics, rocket science... the list goes on. But I think she'd grow up to be someone like a teacher in the end; to try and prevent what happened to her because she likes children.
In her older form she's stopped dying her hair so it's all white now; she also cut it and just wears it loose now. Always saw her as the type who had bad vision so in the future she has glasses (with pink rims oh yeah) and you can see from her little choker she still likes her stars. I don't think she'd have changed much to be honest; her tone would soften a little and she'd be a bit more mature but she'd still be odd and show an odd energy for her interests like stars, ghosts and photography. She'd be more open to sensitive talk and I think she'd be a very positive person.
This is all just what I think anyway though.
A sudden burst of inspiration will do that to you I suppose. I thank Soup and Rahmen for the idea though, you guys are awesome.

Athena looks gorgeous, I was honestly surprised with her hair up until you mentioned she dyed it and I suddenly remembered It's cute how she's still into stars, and I love how get up right now >w< The glasses were a nice touch, and her fashion style looks really casual, fashionable yet comfortable all in one and, I don't know why, but I think it matches her more than the one where she was younger.
Buuut yeah, Athena's got this whole mature thing going on but the expression on her face still allows that spunky side shown. She looks amazing! And I honestly don't know why I haven't seen this before ;;; my inbox needs plowing- //srapped

Really??? ;v; Awww thank you so much this comment makes me feel so good, I was worried about how she'd turned out! You're the first Tantei person who's really given me their opinion on it to be honest (I mean Naka kinda did but XDD) and I value your opinion anyway. Oh, you remembered she dyed her hair? ;v; To be honest I'm surprised anyone knows that in the first place so I'm kind of all fluttery and happy about that.xDD Mm, for some reason I couldn't see her growing up too much and I think the star thing is somehow really close to her heart. Hahaha, that seems to be the common opinion and to be honest it's kinda mine too; I dunno why either.
Thank you so so much! ;v; It's really risky aging up a character 'cause you want them to look and be similar but also well, not. But I'm glad it turned out well.

I've heard of it being mentioned every no and then ouo but I can't say I have. It looks pretty interesting! Though I'm already in more groups than I can chew I-I would've loved to join though! Aaaand I'm kinda in if you're for the silly people, it's really so crazy there like you wouldn't believe. So yeah ;u;
D'aww don't worry! I know exactly how you feel! ;u; It's pretty suspenseful not knowing if people liked or appreciated your efforts or not, but she really does look lovely! And yeah, I try to remember everyone's stories and I remembered you mention it somewhere in an rp once. And aha, that's awesome though! I mean, character development is one thing but it gets really weird and confusing if the personalities just change completely! (Unless you have a personality disorder like Jayce but UHYEAH //coughs) And that's honestly really cute! ;u; I can see glowy stars stickers being in her room >w<

A-And the people that I'm in the group in this with are all actually still in touch with each other, it's a pretty close group. Plus, it's got Aile and Si in it! Or, at least, Si's still making her app so yeah xD
But yeah, it totally does! It's just, uh, you know, hard work and all. Like for example, I put a lot of effort in making sure the eye colors look alright or that the lines are neat and the hair ;;;; a-and I feel a teeny tiny bit disappointed that no one seems to notice it. But the fact that it looks good in my opinion kinda eases that sting at bit ^^ but I really, really do feel gleeful when people notice the mini things I put so much effort in and I just kinda jump for joy like a weirdo in my room aha ;;; but yes! Improvements with reasons are the best character developments! And Athena's room sounds so cute imo >w< its like her mini stars room!
Buuut yeah, stinking Jayce and his confusing personalities make it so confusing on which one should actually be retained and stuff and I was honestly planning a mini plot twist thing for Jayce but then tantei kinda died ;;; so welp
And pshh, I'm just saying what I see, really! ;u; it really does show, like, a lot, so you don't need to worry at all!

I can imagine! My dad has only a touchpad so on the rare occasions I have to use his laptop it's super painful to navigate. sdsesjdse i-it's a shame your mum did that. But I understand. And no problem, you know I love your art!<3 And really?! Wow, that's great! I hope your mum comes home soon then. I also hope her travel was safe~
I'm glad I'm not the only one then! I feel real sad about that sometimes. And yeah, it's especially irritating when the groups die so quickly (ANACHRON PASSE YOU JUST KNOW I'M LOOKING AT YOU GOD AND YOU PAINTBREAKERS ) Aww, it sounds really nice; that close-knit feel is really nice especially since I often feel left out of groups. Ahhh I probably would but I don't know much about Adventure Time so it probably wouldn't be a good fit for me sadly. ;m;
I do know and I feel the same way a lot of the time - it's like no one notices the stuff you really put your heart into and it's good because you feel good about it sometimes but you wish it'd be noticed more or something. A feeling like that... Pfft, ahaha, I guess so yeah! Athena never grew up properly so she's still got a lot of kiddy tastes.
God, really? That sucks, I would've loved that kind of mini-plot. Especially since I was always fond of Jayce and always kind of wondered how he'd end up. It's a shame Tantei died, I had some stuff planned too. Like the first time Athena cried; it was something I planned on happening but it never did. To be honest I really hope it comes back; even if it gets like, completely revamped or gets owned by someone else it'd be so nice to have it back. I liked so many of the characters in that group. Maybe someone could make a new group with a similar but different concept to Tantei some day where all the characters could rejoin... but that's just my wishful thinking I reckon.
Oh no I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to suggest rushing her was a good idea! D: I was just being playful and stuff ;;; I understand completely and I agree, it's no good to pressure someone like that. She'd make a very pretty, mature, grown-up. I might even like this lighter hair color better than the old one. It looks witty, for some reason.

Thanks! Yeah to be honest, I kind of like her older design more than her younger one but I suppose in a way that's apt because she'd have the time to grow up her opinions and tastes, you know? But I'm glad you think so, I was worried about so many things; it not working, her white hair, looking too young, etc... really just glad you like it!

I have to sort of second Queenie's comment. So does look sexy here. XD Very mature and lovely style going on there. I think she would be a great teacher. For what I understand of her character she's energetic and creative. Both are essential when working with children.

Haha, really? Oh my gosh, thank you so much, that actually makes me so happy 'cause I was worried about a whole bunch of things with this one. I wasn't sure if the clothes were okay or if she looked too young even though my mind says it's fine. She is both of those things yes; I think she'd probably be a good teacher because she's good parts adult good parts child which means she could connect to them a lot more I feel. And I definitely agree with you there; I quite like children myself but it takes a special hand to teach them, I feel.

Well, it seems like you went with what came natural in your mind for this character and I think it works great. In a way, with the childish side of her, I'd like to think she'd always look a little on the younger side. And yes, yes it does indeed take a special hand to teach children. XD
