You've yet to fail to capture my adoration, Ric-M. To begin, I will mention my personal partiality for Gilda as a character; strong, independent, with a simply ideal sense of crude condescension. And you, as the fine artist you are, have captured this personality in appearance and emotion, humanizing as you do and still losing none of the fine qualities that define her. On the topic of the transfer from griffon to human, I would like to point out certain choices that I thought very well done: The design for her jacket naturally captured the lionic sections of her tan fur and the furred white collar not only added to the character in a way to give a broadened sense to the shoulders of her figure but was in many ways accurate to the a original creature, a very well chosen alternative to the conventional black leather jacket. The earrings added to the piece in the sense that they provided, along with other elements you've implemented, that gangly street oriented sense that we've all seemed to conceive and appreciate from Gilda, not to mention the cigar which even further gave us just that and not only that, but the sole "toughness" that very well characterizes her as a whole. I believe the overall coloring shading, coloring, and artistic skill value of the piece need not even be spoken for, evident as it is throughout ALL of your fine work. I applaud and commend you wholeheartedly; you've duelly done it once again. Bravo.

I love the feather earring! And the fur on her jacket is a parallel to where original Gilda's body separates from eagle to lion! Nice touch!

Yeah she's just mean/a bully but I get what he means. Would be interesting to see an episode that shows a different side of her or why she's mean but I guess they kinda already did that whole bully thing with Babs Seed.

Well, for starters: She is a Griffon. Those normally eat Ponies. Depending on if the writers did their research, she might see Rainbow Dash as more than just her friend ( given the circumstances under which a Griffon does not eat a mare ). Visiting Ponyville probably puts a lot stress on her. (She can also only stay there for a limited time, since she can not digest the fooid there, being an obligate carnivore ) Not only is she an apex predator of Ponies, she is also very strong. If she loses control, someone could die. It is very likely that she planned to spend the complete time of her visit with Rainbow Dash alone. Sadly her Quality Time with Dash came to an end once Pinkie Pie, from Gilda's POV probably the most annoying creature in the world ( and she is really annoying and seems to have a talent to make non-Ponies angry ) decided to not leave them alone. When Dash decided to go to Ponyville, Gilda likely decided to let of some stream by scaring some Ponies. Fluttershy might have reminded her of Pinkie or just have been a victim of her pranks, not a specific target.
